Chia-Chi Chu was born in Taipei, Taiwan on September 4, 1965. He received the BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, U.S.A., in 1996. From 1995 to 1996, he has been a member of the technical staff at Avant! Corp., Fremont, CA. Since 1996, he has been a faculty member of Electrical Engineering at Chang Gung University, Tao-Yuan, Taiwan, R.O.C., where he is currently an Associate Professor. He was a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley in 1999. His current research interests include applications of numerical methods for circuits and systems, interconnect analysis techniques for deep submicron ICs, and nonlinear circuits theory and applications. Dr. Chu was recipient of the Young Author Award of the IEEE 1997 Control of Oscillations and Chaos Conference (COC'97).
