Tan Mingxin is an associate professor in the Department of Information Technology, Huazhong Normal University, China.He received the B.S., M.S. and Dr. Degrees from Nanjin Posts and Telecommunication Institute, Central China Normal University, Harbin engineering University, 1989, 1999, and 2003, respectively. He worked at Wuhan Maritime Communications Research Institute, China as an advanced engineer before 2003. From 2003 to 2004, he worked at the Department of Electronics, York University, England. Based on this year’s research and previous investigation on turbo code and MIMO, he put forward the academic opinion of Non-primitive turbo code and published corresponding papers.
His research interests include modulation and coding for wireless communications, MIMO technologies and switching technologies.
