Dr. Zhiqiang Cui received B.E. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China in 1993. He got M.E. degree from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas in 2003, and obtained Ph.D. degree from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon in 2007. He has been working for Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, CA, as Senior Engineer since 2007. Before joining Qualcomm, he worked for Intel Corporation (2006), Beaverton, OR. He also worked at Civil Aviation Administration of China (1993-2001), Guangzhou, China.
Dr. Cui currently serves as a technical program committee member of CHINACOM’10. Since 2005, he has served as a technical reviewer for more than 10 international journals and conferences including IEEE TCAS-I & II, TVLSI, TCOM, TSP, ISCAS, GLOBECOM, and etc. He has published 4 technical papers in IEEE and IET journals and 10 technical papers in IEEE, ACM, and NASA conferences.
Dr. Cui is a member of Sigma Xi and IEEE. His research interests include Error Correction Codes, Wireless Communications, Reconfigurable Computing, as well as Low Power/High Speed ASIC Implementation.
